New Year - New things to create!

HAPPY NEW YEAR,

Or, at least, I HOPE it will be for us all.

This past year has been unimaginably brutal and endless , but I am determined to do what I can, in my little bubble, to make it bearable, at the very least, by providing opportunities for creativity with felting!!

I’ve already scheduled the year’s in-person activities at Leaping Llamas Artisan Shop, here in Topeka, and wanted to share the schedule with you now so that you can plan to join me for these fun classes and events:

February 3rd-530-730pm-Felted Flowers in February

March 26th-1030am-1230pm-Dino Days kids class

Sign up your school age kiddos to stab a dino into existence with this beginner friendly needle felting class. Kits include everything needed, including color options for customizing!

May 6th-5-8pm-LIVE Topeka Flag street project

A First Friday LIVE Felting project-I will once again be outside Leaping Llamas Artisan Shop, with assorted wools, asking YOU to be part of this community project! We will together create a felted version of the Topeka flag!

May 12th-530-730pm-Mother/Child Flower Brooch class

Another beginner friendly class, creating flower pins for BOTH Mom and Child (2 flowers per kit) to celebrate Mother’s Day with brightly colored felt flowers!

September 21st-530-730pm-Peace Mandala class

Using assorted wools and yarn and sparkling fibers, you will create a peaceful mandala to hang up and inspire peace. This wet felting project will give you a basic understanding of wet felting as well as the opportunity to show your personal color palette.

November 12th-1030am-1230pm-Tree Topper class

Inspired by star tree toppers and the lovely edelweiss flower, you’ll create a one of a kind tree topper for your holiday tree!
