Nuno Felting Sample Fun!
Chiffon, tulle and ruffle yarn, OH MY!
I’m exploring Nuno felting with fabrics that would not be traditional choices, just to see what happens. I mean, that is how I discovered that cheesecloth makes an excellent fabric to use for Nuno felting, especially if you like an organic lacy look to the finished project.
For the past several years, I’ve been collecting fabrics and yarns that I think might work well for Nuno felting. They are very non-traditional fabrics: ruffle yarns of a couple types, vintage chiffon scarves from the 50’s and 60’s, open work polyester fabrics, etc.

So the time has come to play with these collections, to see what the results will be, so that I can continue my felting journey, and I’m happy to say that I LOVE the results-well, some more than others, but very happy with the discoveries! What do you think?
