What's with the dresses? Well..

Many of you may have seen pictures of me wearing the same dress for the past week. Why am I wearing wool in summer? Well, because I am taking the #100daydresschallenge by Wool&, a brand of clothing created primarily from Merino wools.

And because wearing wool is completely on brand for me as a felt and fiber artisan, brings more information about wool and fiber to more people, and, frankly, because it has turned out to be very comfortable and easy to wear on this vagabond life! If you have missed that, I’m living at my mom’s for the next 3-4 months.


In case you missed my first week of looks - here's your update! Seven days of wearing a beautiful wool dress in the Iowa heat... and honestly, I'm loving it!

  • Hi, Sharon! The dress is wonderful even in high temps, I was surprised! Iowa in the summer sure is muggy and hot and this dress is comfortable through it all.

  • I like the ones with the purse and the hat (I love that purse!) and the one with the scarf best. Really super-looking dress; was it cool in the high temps?
