Is there anything new about felting?
For myself, I will begin to bring the new techniques I learned in the Moy Mackay workshop last month to my inspiration photos of the flint hills and the tallgrass prairie. I’ll also be working up a different way to create wet felted flowers based on an idea I had before going to sleep the other night.
Inspiration from Scotland
I’m excited to use some of the inspiration I gained from my experience in Scotland for new work, and above you see a couple of the images I will use as a jumping off point: The thistle throw pillow on my bed at Kingsmuir House and the view outside my window as the storm was coming in one night.
